Hillcrest High School will host a career fair March 7, from 9-11, in the high school cafeteria. Everyone is invited to visit over 18 local businesses.

Hillcrest students in grades 7-10 will be taking the ATLAS Writing Assessment on Monday, March 4th and students in grades 3-6 on Wednesday, March 6th.
How Parents Can Help
You can help by making sure your child:
• gets plenty of sleep the night before the test;
• has breakfast on the morning of the test;
• goes to school on the day of a test;
• does not have any out-of-school appointments on the day of a test;
• knows you think he/she will do well on the tests; and
• knows you understand the test is important.

Tomorrow Feb. 27th is spring picture day. Only the elementary and preschool will have spring pictures taken ( if they were purchased). It is also spring sports picture day. Athletes will need to bring their uniforms to school.
Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles will take on the Concord Lady Pirates Thursday, February 22nd @Westside Greers Ferry at 7:00 P.M in the 1A-2 Regional Basketball Tournament. After-School Tutoring for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 20 has been canceled.
Attention, parents, guardians and students, the high school has made an error and sent out the wrong report card. Please disregard what your student brought home. We will correct this on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Attention 5th & 6th grade parents: the gym will open at 5:30 tonight for the Valentines Dance. Remember admission is $2 per student and pizza and sodas will be sold as refreshment. The dance will end at 9 o'clock. Chaperones will be Mrs. Heather, Mrs. Bre, Coach Sam, and Mrs. Brannon. Student phones will be taken at the door.

Congrats to our Screamin' Eagle basketball teams for their victories tonight in the 1A-3 District Tournament. Sr Boys will take on Ridgefield Christian tomorrow at 6:00 with a Regional Tournament berth at stake! With the Lady Eagles win, they earned a berth to next weeks regional tournament. They will take on Marked Tree, Thursday at 6:30 in the semi-finals of the district tournament. Come out and cheer on our Screamin' Eagles! Go Screamin' Eagles!!

We are excited to release the new, balanced, 2024-2025 Hillcrest school calendar. In person instruction will continue to be 178 days, but students will have a fall break and an extended spring break. The 24-25' school year will begin on Wednesday, July 31, and end on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Congratulations to the Hillcrest Jr Boys on their win over Mammoth Spring 47-13 in the district tournament. They will play Ridgefield Christian in the semi-finals Thursday at 7:45. Go Screamin' Eagles!!
1A-3 Jr District Tournament begins Monday at Ridgefield Christian School in Jonesboro. Hillcrest Jr Boys will play Monday at 4:00 vs Mammoth Spring. Hillcrest Jr girls will play Marked Tree, Wednesday at 5:15. Once we have a completed bracket available we will post it. Good Luck Screamin' Eagles!
