Reminder: Today is the deadline to get your Emery's Entourage purple shirts ordered. We will place our final order tomorrow morning. We have had a lot of orders placed! Big Thanks to Mrs Addison and several of her FBLA girls. They have made several shirts already and will busy up to December 5. We can't wait to see the Eagles Nest rockin' that purple for Emery! Reminder: Thursday, November 10 will be the last day to order your Purple Emery's Entourage shirts for the "Purple Out" night for December 5. Coaches are asking for all their players to order one if possible and for them to attend the games in support that night! (Jr and Sr Girls will wear them as warm-ups for the game.) Basketball Update: 11/8- Riverside has cancelled the 7th Grade boys game tomorrow night. Jr Boys game will start at 5:00 followed by Sr Boys.

The 2022 Hillcrest Veterans Day Assembly will be held at the Multi-Purpose Building on the Hillcrest Elementary Campus in Lynn, on Wednesday, November 9 at 9:30 AM. It will be a celebration including music, special guests, and messages supporting our nation's veterans. It is a free event, and is open to the public. Veterans Day matters.

(Homecoming Week) 11/7- 5:00@ Riverside(Lake City) Jr Girls and Sr Girls( no 7th Grade Girls game) 11/8-5:00 @ Riverside (Lake City). 7th Boys, Jr Boys, Sr Boys 11/10- 4:00 @Maynard Jr Girls, Jr Boys, Sr Girls, Sr Boys 11/11- Homecoming 4:30 @Lynn KIPP Blytheville Jr Boys and Sr Boys (No Sr Girls) *Homecoming will be held between the Jr Boys and Sr Boys game. Homecoming should begin between 5:15-5:30, NO EARLIER!! All Participants in the Homecoming Ceremony should be there no later than 5:00. Good Luck this week to all of our teams and look forward to a BIG crowd Friday night for Homecoming 2022!!

The Jr and Sr Boys tip off tonight at 6:00. The Hillcrest Lil' Dribblers will perform between the two boy's games at approximately 7:00. Theme night for tonight is BLACKOUT!! So, wear BLACK!! Our Screamin' Eagles would love to see a full student section BLACKED OUT!! Come out and cheer on our Screamin' Eagles! Gate opens at 5:30.

The Hillcrest Cookie Dough Fundraiser is currently going on. The deadline to turn in orders and monies has been extended to Thursday, November 3rd.

Basketball: Jr Girls, Jr Boys, Sr Girls, and Sr Boys will take on the Bay Yellowjackets tonight beginning at 4:00. Come out and cheer on our Screamin' Eagles! Theme night for tonight is Hillbilly!! That shouldn't be tough to do for us Hill Folk! Dress those youngins up and come on out!! Our Screamin' Eagles would love to see a full student section of Hillbillies!!

The Hillcrest High School BETA Team and Screamin' Eagle Productions need your Help! We will be collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need to celebrate Thanksgiving. Collection boxes will be set up at each of the Hillcrest home basketball games between October 31st and November 11th. Basketball patrons can drop off their donations as they enter each game and receive a chance to win a special prize that night! October 31-vegetables (canned beans, corn. etc.) November 1-side dishes (Macaroni & Cheese, instant potatoes, etc.) November 3- bread (stuffing, muffin mix, crackers, etc.) November 11-dessert fixings (canned fruit, cake mix, frosting, etc.)

At the December 5th games against Sloan-Hendrix we will give special recognition to coach Daniel Bates' daughter Emery who has been diagnosed with MLD. We ask everyone to wear purple for Emery. If you would like to purchase a purple shirt please follow the link. Shirts will be available for pickup sometime before the game. Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles will have theme nights throughout the basketball season. We ask the entire student body plus every fan and patron to participate. We want to make "The Nest" a tough home court advantage for the Screamin' Eagles each and every home game! Please come and support your Screamin' Eagles!

Hillcrest Elementary 1st Quarter Awards Assembly will be at 1:40PM, today, in the gymnasium. All visitors may enter/exit through the main gym entrance beginning at 1:30.

Tomorrow night (10/6) is financial aid night at 6 p.m. in the New Tech Commons area. All seniors and parents are invited to attend to apply for FAFSA. Juniors and parents are invited for informational purposes only.

REMINDER: The Hillcrest School District is a closed campus. All visitors must check in to the school's office before being allowed to be on that campus. That includes the lunchroom and playground area on the elementary campus.

School picture day is this Friday Oct. 7th. Please remember to not dress your student in green. Students should have brought a picture form home for you to fill out.
