Reminder* Hillcrest High School will offer several tutoring sessions this week. Tuesday, Oct. 26th from 3:15-5:15 with Mrs. Turner & Mr. Story; Meals and Transportation will be provided. On Wednesday Oct. 27th from 3:15-4:15 there will be a session with Mr. Brightwell. A snack will be provided, but transportation WILL NOT. Thursday, Oct. 28th from 3:15-5:15 with Mrs. Turner and Mr. Story; Meals and Transportation will be provided. All students received their first (1st) quarter report cards yesterday, Thursday, October 21. If they were absent yesterday, they will receive them today.

**REMINDER** Our Junior High and 7th grade teams play tonight at Tuckerman. The games will begin at 4pm. Masks will be required of all spectators, players and coaches. There will be no admittance without a mask. If you forget your mask one will be available at the door for $1.00.

Basketball regulations: While we are not currently putting COVID restrictions on our home games, please keep in mind that other schools are. We will have to adhere to regulations and mandates on their respected campuses. October 18 at Tuckerman: Masks are required for all coaches, fans, and players. Fans are required to wear masks during the games. You will NOT be allowed to enter the gymnasium without a mask. They will have masks to buy at the gate for $1. The Sr. High Jamboree is here, tomorrow, October 14th, beginning at 5:00; there will be six, half games. 1st game is Hillcrest v Bay Sr. Girls, followed by Sr. Boys. Tuckerman and Bay play the middle two halves, with Hillcrest and Bay playing at 7 and 7:30. The gate opens at 4:30 and admission is $4 for everyone (set by the AAA). The student section theme tomorrow night is Hawaiian Luau Night. Come out and support our Sr. High Basketball teams.

For all parents that pick up their child from AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING at Lynn. Starting today, ALL elementary students (K-6) will get picked up from the lower elementary building. Again, this is for kids that are staying for tutoring. Also, remain in your vehicle and in line for our children's safety.

This is just a reminder that we will host Financial Aid Night next week, Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the Strawberry gym, starting at 6 p.m. Representatives from UACCB will be educating learners and parents on the current financial aid opportunities available for education after high school (whether it's college or technical school). All 11th and 12th grade learners are invited to attend. UACCB will also be able to help 12th grade learners and parents/guardians fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Hillcrest High will host a junior high jamboree tonight at Lynn. Admission for the jamboree will be $4 for students and adults. The order of the games are as follows: 5:00 Hillcrest vs Bay Jr Girls 5:30 Hillcrest vs Bay Jr Boys 6:00 Bay vs Tuckerman Jr Girls 6:30 Bay vs Tuckerman Jr Boys 7:00 Tuckerman vs Hillcrest Jr Girls 7:30 Tuckerman vs Hillcrest Jr Boys Gate will open at 4:15 at the WEST GATE ONLY.

BUS RULES: 1) Sit in your assigned seat and remain seated until reaching the destination and the bus comes to a complete stop. 2) No yelling or screaming. 3) Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Parents, please talk to and remind your child (children) of these three (3) simple bus rules.

*Reminder* Beginning September 28th, Hillcrest High School will offer tutoring sessions each week on Tuesday and Thursday. During this time, students will receive homework help and instruction in Math, Science, and Literacy. Hands-on, student-centered activities such as science experiments, math manipulatives, and reading circles will also be conducted. The session is open to all Hillcrest High School students regardless of grade level or academic performance. Tutoring sessions will take place in the New Tech building from 3:15-5:15.
