Parents/Guardians:
This is an overview of the plans for Kindergarten and Sixth Grade Graduation. Kindergarten Graduation is Monday, May 24th and Sixth Grade Graduation is Tuesday, May 25th; both beginning at 7:00PM. We are still under guidance from DESE and ADH due to the ongoing pandemic. We want this to be a great event for families and you can help make this happen. Even though we cannot open graduation to the public, we will live-stream the event on our Screamin’ Eagles YouTube channel.
The following are items that need to be taken care of before graduation: 1) Each graduate will be given eleven (11) vouchers the Friday before graduation; 2) Honor cords will be provided (to the sixth-grade honor grads) when they get their vouchers, 3) If you have an outstanding lunch bill from last year it must be paid. Mrs. Serenity has the list and I have emailed the student’s account balances, 4) Student Macbooks must be turned in when you pick up your vouchers and cords (6th grade only), 5) Graduation practices will take place the day of their graduation and are not open to the public.
Seating for Kindergarten Graduation will be by a random draw, names of the graduates will be placed on their family’s row of eleven (11) seats. Sixth Grade seating will be by GPA with honor grads on the front row nearest the podium. Seating for parents will be in rows of eleven (11) with the graduate's name on your row. After the honor graduate seating, seating on the floor and in the home-stands will be a random draw. Families (with the graduate) will enter and exit the gymnasium together, as a group. All (up to 11) family members of a graduate will sit in the graduate’s designated row only. Graduates will need to come to their graduation dressed in the cap/gown.
Thank You,
Shawn Rose

Hillcrest 5th and 6th Grade Parents and Students,
Due to the internet not working yesterday, our third (3rd) and fourth (4th) grade testing was delayed, they will still be testing tomorrow morning in every classroom in the gymnasium. Because of this; fifth (5th) and sixth (6th) grade students will have another virtual learning day tomorrow, Thursday, April 22. Testing should be completed by 10:30AM. If you would like to bring your students to school at around 10:30, that would be great, if not, teachers will upload assignments on the students’ agendas in each subject. If you have any questions or concerns, email me at shawn.rose@eagles1.k12.ar.us.
Thank You,
