
2024 Kindergarten Registration
Hillcrest Kindergarten registration will be Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 10. Registration Packets will be sent home with eligible Pre-K students the previous week. Packets will need to be returned to the Hillcrest Elementary office during school hours, Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 10. Parents may also call the Hillcrest Elementary Office at (870) 376-5416 to have packets mailed or emailed.
Children must be five years old on or before August 1, 2024 to attend Kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year.
The following items need to be submitted to the elementary office, scanned and emailed, in addition to the registration packet; to: shawn.rose@eagles1.k12.ar.us
• Birth Certificate or other official document indicating the child’s age
• Immunization Record
• Well-Child Health Physical
If the above records are in the student’s pre-k records, we will transfer them to elementary.


The last WONKA golden ticket has been found by Charlie and Grandpa Joe, and our One School, One Book project is now underway. Students, parents, faculty, and staff at Hillcrest Elementary will be reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together over the next few weeks, creating a shared reading experience.

Elementary ATLAS summative testing for grades 3-6 will begin tomorrow April 23rd and run through Thursday April 25th.

Kindergarten Istation Heroes For April are Claire McCollumn (Math) and Everleigh Weaver (Reading).

Kindergarten had a special guest today. Second grader, Noah Johnson, saved his soar bucks so he could come read to the Kindergarten classes this morning. Students in K-6 earn SOAR bucks for good behavior .

The Hillcrest softball team split conference games with Armorel tonight. Seniors were recognized and celebrated. Congratulations also goes to Breanna Burrow and Kaily Scoggin for home-run hits!

High School ATLAS testing will begin tomorrow April 15 and run through the week. MacBooks will need to be charged each night. Students will need to go by either office in the morning to find their testing group and location.
