The Hillcrest School District will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Hillcrest Upper Elementary Quiz Bowl team competed at the Northeast Arkansas Educational Cooperative today. They placed Second out of 13 teams competing! Team members were Zion Brown, Ryder McEntire, Aaron Richey (Captain), Chase Satterwhite, and Sawyer Gates.

Aaron Richey, Conall Qualls, and Kaylin Mitchell all placed in the Lawrence County Spelling Bee. Aaron placed second overall and first in the 6th grade division. Conall placed second in the 7th grade division. Kaylin placed second in the 8th grade division. Congratulations!
