Screamin' Eagle Jr High Invitational Tournament Update:
The Screamin' Eagle Jr High Invitational Tournament has been POSTPONED for tonight, January 9th due to the winter weather threat. We have not set a reschedule date as of now. We will keep everyone posted in the upcoming days.

The archery state qualifier at Brookland High School, that was scheduled for this Saturday, January 11, has been postponed. Hillcrest High School and Elementary archery teams will now shoot on Monday, January 20, at 4:30 and 5:30. Archery coaches will send more information early next week as plans are finalized.

To Parents and Guardians of 9th and 10th grade students,
Beginning with the Class of 2027 (this year’s current 10th-grade students), all students are required to complete at least 75 hours of community service during their 9th-12th grade years. To ensure proper documentation and credit, students completing community service outside of school must follow these steps:
If the service involves a school district staff member:
The staff member overseeing the service project must report the hours to Mrs. Turner, Mr. Nunnally, and Mrs. Heather.
If the service is with an external organization:
Students must first obtain approval for the community service project.
After completing the service, an individual from the organization must submit a record of the completed hours to Mrs. Turner, Mr. Nunnally, or Mrs. Heather.
It is crucial that all hours are properly documented and submitted. We cannot award credit for hours without official documentation. Verbal communication alone will not suffice for receiving credit.
Students can pick up community service logs from Mrs. Turner’s office at any time. If you have any questions about the community service requirements or documentation process, please feel free to contact Mrs. Turner or Mr. Nunnally.
Thank you for supporting your student’s involvement in community service.
