Attention FBLA members and parents: Krispy Kreme Donut forms are due today. If your student forgot their form please tell them to bring it to Mrs. Brannon's room before school starts tomorrow morning. Orders will be turned in to Krispy Kreme at 8:30 tomorrow morning. High School had the first student of the month. This month teachers and staff were looking for those students who have been "All In" for learning and growth since the start of school. We had lots of students working hard and several nominated. Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, August 28, 3:45-6:30. All Kindergarten - 12th Grade conferences will be held in the multi-purpose building (gymnasium floor) on the elementary campus in Lynn. Also, there will be No School on Friday, August 29, nor Monday, September 1, for observance of Labor Day.

Fourth graders Gavin Huckabee and Nash Hunter chose to save their SOAR tickets to purchase the privilege of reading to other classes. Today, they read to Kindergarten and Mrs. Baylee's 1st Grade.

Mr. Story’s students have been hard at work crafting argumentative paragraphs about Christopher Columbus. After learning more about him, they were eager to take a stance and share their perspectives!

Mr. Maxwell’s biology students have been busy studying symbiosis! This week, they rotated through lab stations to identify different types of relationships and even used their senses to explore the mysteries inside some mystery boxes!

At the district leadership meeting, SROs Deputies Raina & Turner—the dynamic duo—shared follow-up ideas from staff feedback on CRASE training. They’re working hard to build a system that keeps students & staff safe at school. Thank you both!

This young man has been working hard all year, and his efforts are paying off! Over the past couple of weeks, Jackie has earned five certificates for completing assignments on IXL. Congratulations, Jackie—and thank you to all who continue to support his success!
