Congratulations to the 2022 graduating class of the Ralph Joseph Youth Leadership Program. Hillcrest students were recognized for their community project. Summer Doyle, Taylor Foster, Brayden Oliver, Brooklyn Penn, and Kailey Scoggin were recognized as well as other students from schools in the county. Brayden received a $500 scholarship. Congratulations and way to go Hillcrest Screamin’ Eagles!

Homecoming Tonight!
Jr Boys and Sr Boys take on KIPP Blytheville Thunder tonight for Homecoming. Jr Boys will tip at 4:30. Homecoming will take place following the Jr Boys game. We will NOT start Homecoming before 5:15! All Homecoming participants should be in the gym by 4:45. Sr Boys game will be after the Homecoming Ceremony. During halftime of the Sr Boys game, we will recognize our Veterans! So please come out for our special night at the Eagles Nest! Gates will open at 4:00.

Today is the deadline to get your Emery's Entourage purple shirts ordered. We will place our final order tomorrow morning. We have had a lot of orders placed! Big Thanks to Mrs Addison and several of her FBLA girls. They have made several shirts already and will busy up to December 5. We can't wait to see the Eagles Nest rockin' that purple for Emery! Thanks so much!

Reminder:
Thursday, November 10 will be the last day to order your Purple Emery's Entourage shirts for the "Purple Out" night for December 5. Coaches are asking for all their players to order one if possible and for them to attend the games in support that night! (Jr and Sr Girls will wear them as warm-ups for the game.) Basketball Update:
11/8- Riverside has cancelled the 7th Grade boys game tomorrow night. Jr Boys game will start at 5:00 followed by Sr Boys.
The 2022 Hillcrest Veterans Day Assembly will be held at the Multi-Purpose Building on the Hillcrest Elementary Campus in Lynn, on Wednesday, November 9 at 9:30 AM. It will be a celebration including music, special guests, and messages supporting our nation's veterans.
It is a free event, and is open to the public.
Veterans Day matters.

The Jr and Sr Boys tip off tonight at 6:00. The Hillcrest Lil' Dribblers will perform between the two boy's games at approximately 7:00. Theme night for tonight is BLACKOUT!! So, wear BLACK!! Our Screamin' Eagles would love to see a full student section BLACKED OUT!!

The Hillcrest Cookie Dough Fundraiser is currently going on. The deadline to turn in orders and monies has been extended to Thursday, November 3rd.

The Hillcrest High School BETA Team and Screamin' Eagle Productions need your Help! We will be collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need to celebrate Thanksgiving. Collection boxes will be set up at each of the Hillcrest home basketball games between October 31st and November 11th. Basketball patrons can drop off their donations as they enter each game and receive a chance to win a special prize that night!
October 31-vegetables (canned beans, corn. etc.)
November 1-side dishes (Macaroni & Cheese, instant potatoes, etc.)
November 3- bread (stuffing, muffin mix, crackers, etc.)
November 11-dessert fixings (canned fruit, cake mix, frosting, etc.)
